The California Blues 2 – California Repeat Takers Fail the California Bar Exam at 74%

California’s repeat taker rate is a nightmare.  In July 2019, the repeat taker pass rate was only 26%. That’s a whopping 74% failure rate.

Even the California ABA approved students repeat taker rate was only 37%.  The out-of-state ABA repeat taker rate was 29%, the California accredited repeat taker pass rate was only 14%, the California unaccredited repeat taker pass rate was only 11.5% and the foreign attorneys taking the exam as a repeat taker was 14%.
