The Last Massachusetts Bar Exam and our Extended Program for Massachusetts

February 2018 will be the last Massachusetts bar exam ever given.  Effective July 2018, Massachusetts  will administer the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE).

The UBE consists of  the MBE Exam, two MPTs, and six 30 minute essays.

To those students who want to wait until July to take the UBE – take the step to get an MBE & UBE Testing Institute tutor so that you will pass in July and prepare having to alter your studies to take a whole new bar exam that you are not familiar with. Pass Massachusetts in July and you will be able to transfer your scores to most of the east coast states.

Massachusetts UBE score will be 270, higher than New York, New Jersey, DC, and Connecticut, but the same as New Hampshire and Vermont. Maine’s passing score is 276. Rhode Island has yet to adopt the UBE.

We will be conducting UBE seminars in Massachusetts  after February 2018.  Watch for our schedule.

The MBE & UBE Testing Institute knows that taking the bar exam as a repeat taker can be an isolating experience. The MBE & UBE Testing Institute helps the student keep motivated and confident through interaction with an MBE & UBE Testing Institute’s bar tutor.
