The February 2016 Bar Exam: The Release of State Bar Exam Results

It is March 11th, do you know when your bar exam results will be released? Starting the end of this month, many state bars will release their bar exam results. North Carolina is usually the first state to release its results and states start lining up after that.

Here are some states’ release dates.  The MBE Testing Institute will update as we get more information. Keep in touch with The MBE Testing Institute and we will announce each state as they come closer to their release dates.

March/April

Delaware:  No exam
North Carolina:  Usually  the first state to come out – some years it has been the end of March,  beginning of April.
West Virginia:  Early April, last year the letters were mailed on April 1st
Illinois:  Early April, last year they came out on April 1st.
Oklahoma:   Last year results were released on April 3rd
Wisconsin: Last year early April
Kansas:  approx. early April
Arkansas:  approx.. early April
North Dakota:  Last year the results came out on April 8th
Utah: approx.. early April
Nebraska:  approx.. early April
Wyoming:  approx. last year early April
Washington:  April 8, 2016 at 8 am PST
Oregon:  Last year they were released on Friday, April 10th (but the same day as Washington, Kentucky, Tennessee) – probably Friday, April 8th
Kentucky:  Last year they were released on Friday, April 10th (but the same day as Washington, Oregon, Tennessee) – probably Friday, April 8th
Tennessee:  Last year they were released on Friday, April 10th (but the same day as Washington, Kentucky, Oregon) – probably Friday, April 8th
Florida:  April 11th
Missouri:  April 12, 2016 after 5pm
Idaho:  April 14th
Alabama:  Last year they came out on April 15th (with Pennsylvania)
Pennsylvania:  Last year they came out on April 15th (with Alabama
Iowa:  2nd week of April
Minnesota:   April 19, 2015 (Online April 20)
Montana:  approx.. mid April
Mississippi:  approx.. mid April
Virginia:  April 22, 2016
Ohio:  April 24, 2016
Indiana:  Last year they came out on Friday, April 24th (with Ohio, MA and Alaska)
Alaska:  Last year they came out on April 24th (with Ohio, Indiana, MA)
Massachusetts:   Last year they came out on April 24th (with Ohio, Indiana, Alaska)
New Hampshire:  approx. late April
Vermont:  approx.. late April
New Mexico:  Before April 25, 2016 (Swearing-In)
Louisiana:  Mailed April 28, 2016 (Online April 29)
Texas:  April 29, 2016
New York:  Usually last week of April, beginning of May, last year April 27th

May

Nevada:   May 4, 2016 at 3:00 PT
Colorado:  May 5th
Connecticut:  May 6th
Hawaii:  approx.. early to mid May
South Dakota:  approx.. May
Maryland:   May 6, 2016 at 4:30pm
New Jersey:  Last year May 5th
DC:  last year early May
Arizona – Last year they were released on May 8th, 4:30 pm
Maine:  Before May 11, 2016
Rhode Island:  May 13
Michigan:  mid May
Georgia:  approx. mid May
South Carolina:  approx.. mid May

California:  May 20th
