We have been talking with students all day Monday,. The questions we’ve
been asked more frequently is “what should I do if I was unsuccessful on the
Florida Bar Exam?” First, let the shock of failing the bar subside with a few
days of reflection. Clearly, this may be one of your greatest disappointments,
but don’t let it control or define who you are. You can pass the bar exam in
February 2015. Get right back up and say, “I will pass in February 2015.”
Ok, now let’s start. Do not repeat the same class, study plan or approach
you used the last time. It did not work. Coming close on the bar is good only
in horse shoes. One size does not fit all. Hard work and having a study plan
and study strategy will pay off. Say to yourself, “I will be a lawyer.”
You want to get the bar exam behind you and start your new life as a
lawyer. Don’t dither or waste time with the “what ifs”. Stay focused and true to your goal to pass.
For the February 2015 MBE, Federal Civil Procedure will be tested with 27
MBE questions. For the Florida repeat bar taker, retaining an MBE Testing
Insitute’s’ MBE Tutor will make the difference.
