The Bar Exam Results for July 2015: California’s Bar Exam Results Have Been Released

California’s bar exam results have been released.  Overall, the first time taker rate is 60% and the repeat pass rate is 16%.  Overall the pass rate was 46.6%.  30% of bar applicants were repeat takers.  

Here are the general statistics.

California ABA:  first time taker:  68%, repeat rate:  24%
Out of State ABA:  first time taker:  59%; repeat rate:  16%
CA Accredited, not ABA:  first time taker:  21%, repeat rate: 8%
Unaccredited, fixed facility:  first time taker:  21%, repeat rate: 0%
Unaccredited, correspondence:  first time taker:  29%; repeat rate: 5%
Unaccredited distance learning:  first time taker:  18%, repeat rate:  11%
