We have never seen the pass rate of law schools like we saw yesterday. Out of 11 schools, 8 schools were below 75%. 6 schools were at or below 59%. Ave Maria was 41% and Barry was 43%, an outrageously low pass rate. The non-Florida law schools (and we’re looking at Cooley in the mix) were 33%.
Why were the scores so low?
There is a combination of reasons. First, the MBE. We have seen changes in the last couple of bar exam cycles and the mean average is now 134 nationwide (a slight rise for 133 last year). With Florida’s standard to pass the MBE at 136, it is extremely hard to get that magical 136 when the mean average is just 134. It makes the repeat bar exam taker’s task almost impossible without help from an MBE & UBE Testing Institute Tutor. Secondly, let’s look at the Florida section of the bar exam. Everyone was surprised by the complexity of the subject matter tested.
We are seeing the changing face of the Florida bar exam.
Obtaining an MBE & UBE Testing Institute Florida bar exam tutor will help you pass.
