There have been
rumblings that the MBE was much harder than last year and that the pass rates
will dip this year. Missouri is the
first state that really gives us the information we need to see how the other
states will fall out.
Let’s look at MBE pass rates coming out of Missouri.
For the overall
takers, the MBE average was 143.22. For
first time takers, the MBE average was 144.12
For second time takers, the MBE average was 125. 11. For the third time takers, the MBE average
was 128.25. The total average was 143.51.
Here are the statistics from last year:
For first time takers, the MBE average was 146.89. For second time
takers, the MBE average was 129.05. For the third time takers, the MBE average
was 126.43. The total average was 146.01.
There you have
it – a clear 2-3% difference from last year.
The MBE does appear to be lower this year.
