The Release of Bar Exams Results is Starting

Illinois has released its bar exam results, making Illinois the first state to release its February 2019 bar exam.  We are still waiting on North Carolina, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, North Dakota, West Virginia and other early results states.  Kentucky will come out on Friday.

Although Illinois doesn’t release actual stats, students are looking at the results and seeing that the MBE may have dropped a bit this bar cycle.  We will see more when Pennsylvania comes out.

The North Carolina Bar Exam

Traditionally, North Carolina bar exam results come out at the end of March.  Last year the results were mailed on or about April 4th.  North Carolina will be coming out in approximately less than a week.  The MBE & UBE Testing Institute will keep you posted when we hear a definitive date.

As we know, this was North Carolina’s first UBE. But it’s a high score – a 270 for passing.  Neighboring state, South Carolina’s score is 266. It will be interesting to see how the scores go.  Hopefully, we will see a nice percentage jump.
