Changes to the Contracts Subject Matter Outline for the February Bar Exam

After inserting Civil Procedure into the MBE exam and then adding topics and changes to Property, now the NCBE seems to be moving onto their next topic, Contracts. Effective with the February 2018 administration, the Contracts subject matter outline has been reordered and revised. Fortunately, no new topics will be added. The primary purpose of the revisions was to provide examinees with more detailed and organized information about the scope of coverage of Contracts questions.

The New UBE states for 2018 and 2019: Massachusetts, North Carolina, Maryland

The states are adopting the UBE every bar exam cycle.  North Carolina and Maryland are the latest states to go to the UBE.

Massachusetts is joining the wave of northeastern states that have turned UBE and will administer the UBE for the first time in July 2018.

Maryland will join its adjoining states and become a UBE state in 2019.  It is still uncertain which bar cycle Maryland will begin.

North Carolina will also join its neighboring state, South Carolina, and begin administering the UBE in February 2019. It will begin accepting transferred UBE scores from other UBE jurisdictions on June 30, 2018.

Why Do Law Students Fail the Bar Exam? How I Can Pass with the MBE & UBE Testing Institute

Most law students fail the bar exam for three major reasons:

They revert back to bad writing habits developed in law school.

It’s December 1st and It’s Time to Study with The MBE & UBE Testing Institute Bar Exam Review Course

All states have released their results for the July 2017 bar exam. Congratulations to those who have passed this bar cycle – you have much to be thankful for at the start of your new career as a lawyer.
